- Planning and development of a community hub featuring a bank, grocery store, and small business incubator housed in repurposed shipping containers
- Support for the development of scattered-site workforce housing to ensure affordability and neighborhood stability
East Lake Foundation
Zion Consulting Group works with the East Lake Foundation (ELF) to shape and implement a comprehensive real estate strategy. Our work focuses on advancing mixed-income housing and driving equitable economic development in the East Lake neighborhood. Key initiatives include:
- Developing plans and identifying partners to transform ELF-owned assets into high-quality, mixed-income housing.
- Planning and guiding the development of a new community center to serve residents.
- Supporting the creation of new office space and parking facilities for the Foundation.

First Congregational Church
- Advised a CDC affiliated with a well established church in downtown Atlanta on maximizing the value of the churches right of first refusal on a parking lot adjacent to the property
- Conducted a feasibility study on the highest and best use of the property
- Identified potential development and investment partners
- Recommended several investment options

Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Atlanta
Engaged to negotiate the sale of the church’s property to a major hospital system. Zion successfully increased the original $6 million offer to over $9.5 million through strategic negotiations.
